On the shores of Lake Alakol, a ceremony was held to open a universal rescue unit, with the participation of Abay Region Governor Berik Uali and the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Shyngys Arinov.

Since 2024, Kazakhstan has celebrated National Book Day, established on the initiative of the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

A press conference dedicated to the development of sports science in Kazakhstan and the implementation of innovative approaches to its modernization was held within the walls of the Kazakh Academy of Sport and Tourism.

An exhibition with this title has opened at the Akmola Regional Museum of History and Local Lore. The exposition features works by students of the children's art school. Talented young artists have once again proven that there are no boundaries for creativity, and inspiration can be found in any material – from clay and felt to felt fabric, plaster, and even Styrofoam.

In the Aktobe Region last year, ten cultural institutions underwent major repairs, and four new facilities were commissioned.  

In terms of cultural events, each year has its own characteristics. The current one is rich in memorable dates associated with the names of many of our great ancestors. They – as a connecting thread between generations – remind us of our great past and rich history.
