In order to develop the volunteer movement, foster environmental culture, and support socially vulnerable categories of citizens, a series of environmental and social events were held in several districts of the Kostanay Region as part of the republican program "Taza Kazakhstan" ("Clean Kazakhstan").

According to the press service of the regional akim (governor), a ceremonial event was held in the Karabalyk District dedicated to the launch of the International Year of Volunteers, proclaimed by the UN General Assembly on the initiative of the Republic of Kazakhstan. After the official part, participants joined the "Snow Landing" campaign: 25 volunteers cleared snow from 12 courtyards where single mothers and pensioners reside. The campaign demonstrated effective cooperation between government bodies and active youth.

In Kostanay, at the Youth Palace, a regional volunteer campaign called "Snow Landing" took place, organized by the Youth Resource Center of the Kostanay Region. Students provided assistance at 25 addresses, clearing the household plots of elderly people living alone and individuals with disabilities. Dana Tokzhanova, Head of the Information and Methodology Sector of the Youth Resource Center of the Kostanay Region, noted that every cleared area is not only practical help but also a contribution to strengthening solidarity and mutual support in society. According to her, young people are confirming their readiness to actively participate in addressing social challenges. The event helped reinforce the principles of social responsibility and develop a culture of mutual assistance.

In the Fedorov District, an environmental campaign titled "Second Life of Things" was conducted, focused on promoting the ideas of rational consumption and careful treatment of the environment. Participants discussed current environmental challenges, learned about practices of reusing items, and took part in thematic activities aimed at forming an ecological culture.

In the Zhitikara District, a meeting with students was held at the Abai School-Lyceum, dedicated to the implementation of the "Taza Kazakhstan" program. During the dialogue, the results of work on improving territories were presented: landscaping, elimination of unauthorized dumps, infrastructure development, and renovation of public spaces. Special emphasis was placed on involving schoolchildren and social partners in environmental initiatives.

The conducted events confirmed the systematic nature of the "Taza Kazakhstan" program's implementation in the region and demonstrated the consolidation of efforts by authorities, youth, and residents of the region in the areas of improvement, environmental responsibility, and social support.
