The staff of the Cassation Court for Administrative Affairs received a wonderful gift on the Day of the Judge and Court Employee of the Republic of Kazakhstan – a ceremony was held in the courthouse to inaugurate a new gym.

This event marked another step in the development of a modern judicial system focused not only on enhancing professional efficiency but also on creating comfortable working conditions, promoting health, and ensuring the well-being of judges and court staff. This is particularly important, as judges, who bear an immense workload and responsibility, experience significant psychological and physical strain. Therefore, caring for the health of the judiciary is a commendable example worthy of emulation.
The opening ceremony featured welcoming remarks from Y. Kuzhakhmetov, Head of the Department of Cassation Courts, and Sh. Manzhuyeva, a judge of the Cassation Court for Administrative Affairs. Congratulating the staff on this significant occasion, they emphasized the importance of a healthy lifestyle for maintaining high productivity and professional effectiveness. It was underscored that creating modern working conditions and fostering corporate culture are essential prerequisites for the successful functioning of the judicial system.
The gym will enable judges and court staff to maintain physical activity, strengthen their health, and recover after intense work. The fact that the gym was opened specifically at the Cassation Court for Administrative Affairs – the sphere where matters of balancing public interests and individual rights are decided – provides judges and court specialists with an opportunity to cultivate endurance, patience, and other qualities that sports help develop.
The new gym is a modern, comfortable space for health improvement, fostering team spirit, and maintaining a positive atmosphere within the staff. It is equipped with a treadmill, an exercise bike, a table tennis table, and areas for yoga and strength exercises, allowing employees to stretch after long hours in front of monitors, relieve stress, and recharge.
As the court noted, the opening of the gym is part of the consistent efforts of the Judicial Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan to create and ensure proper conditions for the administration of justice, as well as to foster a modern and comfortable working environment for judges and judicial system employees.
The addition of such facilities to the court infrastructure contributes to strengthening the physical and psychological health of staff, enhancing the quality of their work, and ultimately serves to further bolster the authority and quality of the judicial system.
