Meanwhile, Arystanbek Mukhamediuly himself published a post on his Facebook page, where he stated that he was not guilty of anything and asked the country's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to intervene in the case and stop numerous checks of the anti-corruption service at the National Museum.

"In whatever field I work, I want to say that first of all I work for the benefit of the nation. I ruthlessly hindered those who attacked the state budget. Of course, who would like my actions like that? Some people are still setting traps in my life," the director of the National Museum wrote.

Later there was information that A. Mukhamediuly tried to commit suicide, but this information was not confirmed. Meanwhile, the press secretary of the National Museum, Aidar Kyrykbai, confirmed that Mukhamediuly had been admitted to the hospital and was being operated on, but the operation was planned and they were doing it on his leg.
